Who is jock Michael Smith

(1948–2012)

A trial lawyer, author, and America’s preeminent private collector of 20th century sports memorabilia, his journey for justice started at 8 yo with his daddy’s murder. A student Civil Rights activist and leading litigator of his generation, hefought for the rights and dignity of seemingly powerless people across the country. His career verdicts exceed $2 billion. Jock was also a critical founding partner in Johnnie L. Cochran Jr’s national firm. Collecting was his ‘quiet’ 35 year addiction.
